Book update – October 2026

It’s been a while since I posted specifically about what is happening with The Forger of Auschwitz, so here you go.

I’ve had some back and forth edits with my editor, who has been really helpful in pinning down the heart of the story and ensuring the payoff to the final chapters. I’ve been advised that we are going on to copyedits.

The book is due to be published in May 2027 and is available to preorder through Waterstones, Foyles, Amazon and Audible. Obviously, this is nuts. I am so excited and so grateful to everyone at Watson, Little and everyone at OMC at HarperCollins for getting me to this point. It really is a dream come true.
On that note, I got a really lovely welcome pack and some gifts through from HarperCollins last week. It’s a great club to be a part of.

In the meantime, I have written another book which is with my agent and I hope will be a worthy follower to TFOA. I want to take a moment to thank Peppermint Editing for their work in preparing it for submission. Couldn’t have done it without Shelley’s help!

Rather than sitting twiddling my thumbs, I started researching something new. A story set not just modern times but in the darkest depths of Reddit. Who knows what will come of it but it’s a nice break from WWII stories, which I will return to in the new year as the next idea develops. For now, I’m enjoying the blank page, the coffee, the long walks and the horrible men I am researching.
